Bilingual Therapist in New Rochelle, Yonkers, and throughout New York
If you're Latino or bilingual in Spanish and English and are struggling with boundaries, self-esteem, anger, depression, or family overwhelm, and are thinking about starting therapy, you’re in the right place.
As a first-generation American born to Mexican parents, I understand the complexities of navigating different cultural identities and expectations. Our early childhood experiences inform how we see ourselves, our relationships, and our environment. And when you are brought up in two cultures with different expectations, it can be challenging to navigate the often conflicting identities.
My specialty is working with adults, teens, and families who are struggling with cultural identity, intergenerational family dynamics, and relationship challenges in a supportive space.
Here’s How You Can Get Started With Therapy
The best way to start is by booking an initial consultation.
During your first session, you can ask me any questions you have about my approach or the process. I promise that if, for some reason, it doesn't feel like the right fit, I’ll refer you to a colleague who will be a better match.

Teen therapy for Hispanic and Latino teens
Teens today face a lot: from figuring out who they are, to academic pressure, peer relationships, and life online. Add contrasting cultural expectations from home and school into the mix, and it's no wonder these years can feel overwhelming.
Adult therapy in Spanish and English
Whether you're working through boundaries, identity, self-esteem issues, or the impact of generational trauma, individual therapy is a safe space to unpack what you're feeling and build new tools to manage life's challenges. I specialize in Internal Family Systems (IFS) - a non-pathologizing, strengths-based approach that helps build greater compassion towards oneself and others.
Bilingual family therapy for Hispanic and Latino Families
When you notice recurrent themes come up in your familial relationships, such as arguing about the same thing with no resolution, family therapy can help move that conflict forward to a place of mutual understanding.
As a family conflict therapist who holds a master's degree in Marriage and Family therapy, I apply a collaborative approach with all my clients.
Why Trust Me As Your Therapist?
I hold a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) from Touro University Worldwide, as well as a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Mercy College, and I'm currently working toward my SFBT (Solution-Focused Brief Therapy) certification.
Over the years, I’ve also had the privilege of:
Providing in-home mental health services to underserved families.
Supporting youth mental health counseling through RELIG, a New Rochelle-based church program.
Working closely with families, individuals, and couples.
